Tina Cooper comes to Austin Alliance Group with over 12 years of forward-thinking Human Resource experience. Her experience includes the five stages of the employee life cycle, performance management, benefits administration, HRIS management, employment law, and compliance. Her experience includes working with industries such as health care, manufacturing, retail, and construction. Her passion is helping others become a better version of themselves through education. Tina has served as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related conflicts.
Tina’s passion for HR can be seen in her ability to connect with clients as if she has been on the team from the get-go. Tina is a doer and is always willing to jump in with a client when help is needed. She has a wide range of skills, including HR compliance and best business practices, payroll administration, including tax registration, and benefits administration. When working with clients, Tina ensures the client understands the how and why behind the process and/or procedure. Not only is she the subject matter expert in the HR field, but she truly enjoys supporting and advising clients in their journey to build a better organization and inspiring the organization to be more human.
Tina earned a bachelor’s degree with a focus in Finance and a master’s degree with a focus in Human Resource Management from Columbia Southern University. She also holds a Professional in Human Resources accreditation (SHRM-CP # 094584), is a certified professional for Wiley’s PXT Select assessments, and has experience in utilizing all of Wiley’s DiSC assessments.
Tina moved to the Austin, Texas area upon her husband retiring from the US Army with their three children. Her two boys are currently serving in the US Army, and her daughter is attending college while also serving as an Alliance Member for AAG. Tina’s hands-on approach goes beyond working with AAG clients, as she enjoys DIY projects in her spare time.
