Alyssa Cooper has been working with the Austin Alliance Group as an Alliance Member, gaining HR experience since April 2022 as an HR coordinator. Her passion is helping others in any way she can. Alyssa had initially thought she would follow a criminal justice path. However, Alyssa began using her experience in payroll as an assistant with the Austin Alliance Group. Her knowledge of HR increased, and she could apply it to her previous and current management roles outside of the Austin Alliance Group. Alyssa decided to adjust her career path to align with HR management. She also finds joy in working in the general area of accounting.
Alyssa is currently attending Austin Community College with her associate degree in business management and plans to further her education by earning her bachelors in the area of HR management with the intent of attending Texas State University. Alyssa is following in her parent’s footsteps, as her mother and father both work in the world of HR. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her two dogs. In her spare time, she utilizes her dog training skills to improve her dog’s obedience behavior.
